Genovese Pesto recipe
Quantities: for 4 people
Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients: 50 gr of basil, 1 spoon of grated pecorino cheese, 1 spoon of grated parmesan cheese, 50 gr of pine nuts, 1 garlic clove, 1 extra virgin olive oil glass, salt.
Preparation: wash and dry the basil leaves. Pound them in a mortar with the crumbled garlic, the pine nuts and the salt. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the cheeses. Pour the oil little by little, without stopping mixing the ingredients.
Shrewdness: if you see that the sauce is too thick, do not add further oil. It could weigh the pasta down. Better water it down with some cooking water.

11.00: arrival in Portofino and one hour stop (visit of the village)
12.15: departure from Portofino to Rapallo
