Itineraries among history, nature…. and a lot of relax

Immersed in its blue, between tiny coves otherwise hidden and seafaring villages of unique beauty, between fabulous sea beds and breathtaking views.
In the towns facing the Tigullio Gulf, intact live on the charm of the ancient maritime villages that, a long time ago subjected to the pirates’ raids, are nowadays modern touristic resorts, full of historic-cultural attractions and included with full rights in the international touristic panorama.
Sailing on our boats means coasting the tiny creeks and the steep cliffs facing the Gulf, with the chance of enjoying the view of a quiet nature seen from a different point of view.

Arriving at Portofino by the sea you can have an overall view of the multicolored house facades that face one of the most exclusive bays of the world; and then it’s a pleasure lingering in the society but quite streets of the village between restaurants and boutiques, and walking to S. Giorgio’s Church, to Castle Brown and the lighthouse, lonely look-out over the open sea horizon.
It is also possible going on with the sailing towards San Fruttuoso, a little village set in the Portofino Mount rocks, otherwise reachable only on foot, with the chance of visiting the Abbey complex (X-XIII Century), nowadays become a museum, and of enjoying the peace of the cove that holds the famous Christ of the Abysses statue.

The Servizio Marittimo del Tigullio owns a modern fleet made up of comfortable boats that comply with the most recent safety regulations. All year round they connect Rapallo/S. Margherita Ligure with Portofino and S. Fruttuoso, with departures even from Chiavari, Lavagna and Sestri Levante that become more frequent at weekends or during periods of major attendance. From May to September, they even offer the opportunity of reaching the Cinque Terre and Portovenere.
